Old Mans Valley Field of Play

Project

Old Mans Valley (OMV) will become the primary entry and orientation point for Hornsby Park. It will provide and promote a gateway of experiences the park has to offer for first time visitors.

Old Mans Valley Field of Play (OMV South) project will provide new multi-purpose sporting and activated recreational green space facilities with associated amenities to support 10,000 current residents, plus cater for arriving residents within the new 6,000 dwellings development as part of the State led Transport Oriented Development (TOD) in Hornsby Town Centre.

The total estimated cost of the project is $24,316,000.00. Council has successfully secured $12,158,000.00 of grant funding under the Federal Governments Thriving Suburbs Grant Program which covers 50% of the total estimated cost of the project. The Funding Deed was executed in August 2025.
