LEGACY

FUTURE TO CREATE

Council have been working hard on this parkland, supporting the next generations.

Hornsby Shire Council have been working hard behind the scenes on Hornsby Park; undertaking extensive groundworks to make the land safe and open its first public spaces as soon as possible. As this extraordinary parkland comes to life over the decades ahead, it’s only one of Council’s visionary plans for supporting the next generations of locals and transforming Hornsby CBD.

MASTER PLAN

Adopted by Council at the General meeting on 14 July 2021

The many layers of human activity that hallmark the history of the land that will soon form the new Hornsby Park have left an uneven record of evidence in the fabric of today’s landscape.

VEGETATION MANAGEMENT PLAN (VMP)

Providing direction for ongoing native vegetation and habitat management

As we transform Hornsby Parkland it’s important that the creation of the recreational spaces is balanced with the conservation, rehabilitation and restoration of the surrounding bushland.
